Order Bump
Category: Upsells · Tier: Pro tier (and Agency) · Marketing page →
What it does
A pre-purchase “add this for $X” prompt on the checkout page. Customer ticks a box and the bumped product gets added to the order before payment.
Why it matters
Bumps convert because they’re relevant + low-friction. Asteris fires them on the checkout page where commitment is highest, with one-click acceptance.
Where to find it
In WordPress admin: ★ Asteris Cart → Modules → Order Bump. The module is enabled by default on every fresh install of a Pro-or-higher licence — disable from the same page if you don”t want it.
Per-module settings live under that same page once enabled. Global module on/off lives at ★ Asteris Cart → Modules (the master switch grid).
Settings reference
Bump offers (multiple per checkout, prioritised), trigger rule (specific products in cart / cart total threshold / customer segment), discount on bump (% or $ off), position (above payment / below totals), copy + image.
Tips
Pro tier required. Don’t stack more than one bump per checkout — multiple bumps trigger choice fatigue and tank the take rate.
